I CANNOT believe how busy I have been since I got back from vacation! Two days after I got back, I packed up and left for 4 days in Atlantic City with my parents, then I got back and had 3 job interviews, and then left to go spend 3 days in Philly with my brother and nephew for my nephew’s 3rd birthday party! That said, I am so sorry that I have not gotten to post anything because of how busy I have been. Since my last blog was kind of slow going, I wanted to start this one off strong once I started posting and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do that since I wasn’t even home for more than a week within the past month.

But now I am so SO excited to start sharing my posts from my road trip to New Orleans, Nashville and Busch Gardens! Since my mom HATES flying, Β my family has to drive whenever we travel. We rented a beautiful Chrysler (which I definitely didn’t want to give up after we got back) and took 2 days to drive the almost 18 hours from PA to LA. As annoying as it can be shoved in a car filled with luggage for 8-9 hours straight, I absolutely love road tripping! The way down was so beautiful and it gave all of us the opportunity to really appreciate our destination once we got there haha.

Our hotel was so beautiful and we had a really great view of the Mississippi River. It was also really convenient because it is literally right next to the French Quarter! We decided that since we arrived late afternoon, we would just have a quiet night and go out to eat and relax. We explored Fulton Street, which is completely blocked off and has a whole bunch of restaurants and entertainment venues. We ate at the Manning’s Bar and Grill, watched live music and turned in early to prepare for an early start to the next day.

The pictures above are from my way down to New Orleans and from the day that I arrived. There will be plenty more to come, including some outfit posts, which I am very excited to share with you all πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for reading!
